ג'ניה קריס הוא אמן רב-תחומי ומומחה לשימור מלאכות מסורתיות, החי ויוצר בירושלים. ג'ניה הוא בוגר האקדמיה "בצלאל" (B.F.A) במחלקה לעיצוב קרמי וזכוכית, והרחיב את פועלו בלימודי קיימות, פיסול סביבתי ובנייה באדמה. בעבודותיו הוא מחבר בין עשייה חומרית ואקולוגית לבין ציור ורישום קלאסי. לאורך השנים הציג בתערוכות יחיד וקבוצתיות בארץ ובעולם, השתתף בתוכניות שהות אמן (רזידנסי), וזכה בפרסים על מיצביו. לצד עבודת הסטודיו שלו, ג'ניה עוסק באוצרות והפקה, בשימור ארכיאולוגי, ובהנחיית סדנאות אמנות וקרמיקה בקהילה.

 

Jenia Kris is a Jerusalem-based multidisciplinary artist and educator specializing in the preservation of traditional crafts. He holds a B.F.A. from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (Ceramic and Glass Design) and has expanded his practices into sustainability, environmental sculpture, and earth building. His work bridges tactile, ecological creation with classical drawing and painting. Over the years, Jenia has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions globally, participated in artist residencies, and received awards for his light installations. Alongside his studio practice, he works in art curation, archaeological conservation, and leads community art and ceramic workshops.
